Prof. Dr. Thomas Budde elected into the Executive Board

On March 25 2021, the general meeting of the Folkwang-Museumsverein elected Prof. Dr. Thomas Budde as a supplementary member to the executive board of the Folkwang-Museumsverein. Born in Essen, he is the medical director of the Alfried Krupp Krankenhaus as well as chief physician of cardiology. He has been a member of the Folkwang-Museumsverein for several years and is closely affiliated with the Museum Folkwang. Not only thanks to his numerous voluntary activities in the cultural field and his outstanding connections to the municipal management and to executives of the regional economy, Prof. Dr. Budde is an exemplary candidate for the enlargement of the executive board. He expressed his delight at the election and thanked the members of the Folkwang-Museumsverein. "I am really pleased to now be able to make future contributions to the continued existence and further development of our beautiful museum," says Thomas Budde.
