The FMV offers new interactive online service

With the newly launched series of events "FMV digital" we would like to expand the offer available to our members and adapt it to the current circumstances.

Be it digital tours of curators or virtual members' meetings: With our online offering, you will soon-to-be able to participate from anywhere, regardless of your visit to the museum - from the comfort of your home environment or on the move, using a PC, smartphone or tablet.

On Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, we will start with our first interactive guided tour in the new category: Virtual Wednesday - digital curator tours. Thomas Seelig (Head of the Photographic Collection) will present the image series "Angst" by Soham Gupta. Afterwards, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions. Last year, Gupta's 20-part image series was purchased with the support of the Folkwang-Museumsverein and could not yet be presented to the public due to the ongoing, corona-related closure of the museum. FMV digital is the first interactive online format from the Museum Folkwang; we would be delighted to welcome you to it.
